A Winter Wedding in JanuaryNever have I ever photographed an outdoor winter wedding so I can check this one off the list! Luckily it was above zero on the 25th…. because January winters in Wisconsin you just never know what you’re going to get for weather!
When Brandon and Karli had first come to me they only wanted a reception photographed because they were going to elope in Utah but their plans soon changed as they wanted family involved and to be married sooner. Karli had always dreamed of a winter wedding and so they made it happen! Everyone braved the cold and I would say the presence of family made the whole place a little warmer.
They chose to do a first look before the ceremony and Karli had one dress for the ceremony and changed into a different dress for the reception. FYI shawls in the winter are a must have if you choose a sleeveless dress!
